Preliminary assessment
A preliminary assessment in which your pet’s condition is evaluated to confirm that there are no treatment alternatives and that it is the right time to prevent unnecessary suffering.
A calm environment
Your pet can be in their favourite spot, on the sofa, in their bed, or in your arms. The entire process is carried out at the pace the family needs, without rushing.
Deep sedation
A sedative is administered and, within a few minutes, your pet will fall into a very deep, pleasant sleep, similar to anaesthesia. They will stop feeling any physical pain or discomfort and will remain completely relaxed while you stroke them.
Final procedure
Once your pet is asleep and relaxed, the final medication is administered to stop their vital functions quickly and painlessly.
Support and an unhurried farewell
If you wish, the whole family can be present throughout the process. You may take all the time you need to be by their side and say goodbye in the privacy of your home.

Before carrying out the procedure, I perform a preliminary veterinary assessment in which we evaluate your pet’s clinical condition and quality of life together. The aim is to confirm that there are no treatment alternatives to relieve their suffering and to ensure the decision is made at the right time.
Why is it advisable to carry out euthanasia at home?
Having the process at home spares your pet the stress of travel, fear of the car, or the coldness of a clinic. It allows them to say goodbye in their favourite spot, in their bed, or in your arms, surrounded by their family and in an atmosphere of complete peace and privacy.
Is the process painful or does it cause distress to the pet?
No, it is a completely painless and calm procedure. First, deep sedation is administered so that your pet falls into a peaceful sleep (similar to anaesthesia), no longer feeling any pain or discomfort. Once asleep and completely relaxed, the final medication is administered very gently.
Can the whole family be present during the process?
Yes, of course. The entire procedure is carried out at the pace you need, without rushing. You can stay with them, stroke them, and speak to them throughout the process, and take the private time you need at home to say goodbye calmly.
What options are available for handling the body after death?
I take care of arranging the funeral services in full, with home collection coordinated with an authorised veterinary crematorium. You can choose between communal cremation or individual cremation (with the return of their ashes in an urn and the corresponding cremation certificate).
What legal formalities are completed after the farewell?
In addition to coordinating with the funeral service, I handle the official deregistration due to death in the relevant identification register (such as RIVIA in the Valencian Community), so that all administrative documentation is properly updated.
