Clinical analysis and laboratory tests
Accurate diagnostics in a relaxed setting.
To know exactly what’s going on inside your pet, a visual exam often isn’t enough; we need to look at their cells, organs, and internal chemistry. For your complete peace of mind, I collect clinical samples directly in your home quickly, cleanly, and without your companion experiencing the stress of a clinic visit.
Once obtained, I manage and send the samples to a specialized external reference veterinary laboratory. This gives us access to state-of-the-art medical technology, fast results, and absolute precision so we can diagnose diseases in time and provide the exact treatment your pet needs.

Types of samples and diagnostics we perform
I’m able to collect virtually any type of sample your dog or cat may need during the consultation to thoroughly investigate their health:
- Complete blood tests: We assess liver and kidney function, measure blood sugar levels, and analyze blood cells to rule out anemia, infections, inflammation, or immune system problems.
- Urine and stool analysis: Essential for diagnosing urinary problems (such as crystals or urinary tract infections) and for detecting internal parasites or digestive issues that aren’t visible to the naked eye.
- Skin and lump cytology: I collect small samples from the skin, ears, or superficial lumps for pathologists to examine under a microscope. This way, we can immediately determine whether it’s an infection, an allergy, or a tumor.
- Advanced preventive checkups: Specific profiles for senior pets (over 7 years old) to detect chronic diseases at a very early stage, before symptoms appear.
- Early diagnosis of infectious diseases common in the area, such as leishmaniasis, tick-borne diseases, and heartworm.
LO QUE DEBES SABER
Información clave
What are the advantages of doing the tests at home?
More accurate results: Fear and stress alter certain blood parameters (such as blood sugar or cortisol). By taking the sample in a calm environment, the results reflect your pet’s true state of health.
Total convenience: You avoid the back-and-forth trips to the clinic just for a blood draw or to bring in a urine or stool sample.
Unhurried care: I take the time needed to make the process a gentle, respectful experience for your pet.

Preguntas Frecuentes
What are the advantages of taking clinical samples in my own home?
Stress, travel, and the nerves of waiting rooms alter physiological parameters such as glucose or stress hormones (cortisol). Taking the sample on your pet’s own bed or sofa ensures that the lab results reflect their true state of health.
What types of tests and samples can be collected at home?
Virtually any necessary clinical sample can be collected: complete blood tests (liver profile, kidney profile, blood count), urine and stool analysis, skin, ear, or superficial lump cytology, and senior profiles for early diagnosis.
How are the samples processed once collected at my home?
Samples are preserved and identified under strict veterinary quality standards and are collected by a specialized express courier service to be processed at an external reference veterinary laboratory.
How long does it take to get the test results?
Most results for routine blood tests, urine tests, and cytologies are available within 24 to 48 hours. As soon as the laboratory sends me the report, I’ll contact you to explain the findings in detail.
How will I receive my pet's results and diagnosis?
I’ll call you personally to explain the medical report results in simple terms. I’ll also send you the official laboratory document along with the guidelines or treatment to follow directly to your phone (via WhatsApp or email).
Is it necessary to run routine tests if my pet doesn't show any symptoms?
Yes, especially for senior pets (over 7 years old) or during annual checkups. Many kidney, liver, or infectious diseases common in the area (such as leishmaniasis, ehrlichiosis, or heartworm) don’t show symptoms until they’re advanced, which is why early diagnosis is key to ensuring their health.
