Review of your destination
As soon as you contact me, I review the exact, up-to-date health requirements of the country you are travelling to.
Home visit and check-up
I come to your home to check the microchip, carry out a physical examination to certify that your pet is healthy to travel, and administer any pending vaccines or treatments.
Signing and delivery of documentation
I process the certificates with the official authorities and provide you with all documentation ready for travel, or I will tell you where and how to collect it in cases where you need to go to the Animal Health services.
Included services and paperwork
Issuance of the European Pet Passport: If you are travelling within the European Union, I prepare the official documentation, ensuring the microchip and rabies vaccination are correctly recorded and valid.
Official Export Certificates (CEXGAN): To travel to countries outside the EU (such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Latin America, etc.), I process the mandatory health certificate through the Ministry’s official platform.
Rabies antibody test (serology): Some destination countries (and Spain, in order to return from certain countries) require a specific blood test proving that the rabies vaccine has taken effect. I take the blood sample at your home and arrange shipment to the authorised laboratory.
Last-minute treatments: Many destinations require a veterinarian to certify that the animal has been dewormed against specific parasites (such as Echinococcosis) exactly between 24 and 120 hours before boarding the plane. I come to your home within the exact timeframe to administer it and stamp the passport.

Preguntas Frecuentes
How far in advance should I contact you before an international trip with my pet?
It is advisable to contact me as soon as you know your travel date. Some countries outside the European Union require procedures that can take weeks or months (such as the rabies serology test or specific vaccinations).
What is the difference between the European Pet Passport and the CEXGAN certificate?
The European Pet Passport is the mandatory official document for travelling within European Union member countries. The CEXGAN certificate is processed through the Ministry’s platform for countries outside the EU (such as the U.S., the U.K., Latin America, etc.) and certifies that the animal meets the health conditions required by the destination country.
How are travel procedures handled at home?
First, I review the up-to-date health requirements of the country you are travelling to. After that, I come to your home to examine your pet, verify the microchip, administer any required vaccines or deworming treatments, and sign or process the documentation with the official authorities.
What is the rabies antibody test (serology) and when is it needed?
It is a mandatory blood test to enter certain countries outside the EU (and to return to Spain from certain high-risk countries) that proves the rabies vaccine has generated sufficient protection. I take the blood sample at your home and arrange shipment of the sample to the authorised official laboratory.
What are last-minute treatments before flying?
Many destinations require a veterinarian to certify that the animal has been dewormed against specific parasites (such as Echinococcosis) within an exact timeframe (usually between 24 and 120 hours before boarding the plane). I come to your home within that time window to administer it and stamp the passport.
Do I need to go to a public office to collect the certificates?
In most cases, I prepare and sign all the documentation and deliver it to you ready for travel directly at your home. In specific situations where the protocol requires in-person validation by Animal Health services, I will clearly explain how and where to collect it.
